These two. This day. So much swooning!

I photographed Tara and Jaime’s engagement session last summer in Morgan’s Park in Glen Cove. After the amazing smiles and genuine laughs I captured I knew their wedding day wouldn’t be much different! Tara got ready at their venue, Smithtown Landing Country Club in their beautiful bridal suite. Tara is a girly girl and loves the color pink, so naturally she decided on pink bridesmaids dresses and white / blush flowers. Her shoes were even pink – so cute! Jaime was getting ready at a house nearby with his groomsmen before meeting us at Smithtown Landing for the first look. Jaime was completely blown away – Tara picked a dress unlike anything Jaime thought she would. After a few moments together we loaded up the party bus and head over to the Vanderbilt Museum in Centerport for family, bridal party, and bride and groom portraits. This location is one of my absolute favorites to photograph. We always capture beautiful images when we shoot there and to top it off we had a beautiful fall afternoon – I couldn’t have asked for a better scenario! Every time Tara and Jaime looked at each other their faces lit up. I love witnessing loves like that. After creating some serious magic in that golden hour light we went back to the venue to get them married! Their wedding ceremony was outside underneath the trees right as the sun was setting. After saying their I do’s we got ready for their wedding reception. These two were tearing up the dance floor all night – I loved it! Tara surprised Jaime with a grooms cake and did you see the topper? A bride pulling her groom away from his video games (relatable – haha!) Before the night was over we snuck the bridal party outside for a quick sparkler photo with the new Mr & Mrs. What a perfect ending to a perfect day. Congratulations Tara and Jaime! Cheers!
