christina & tom’s engagement session! | montauk, new york

Montauk always holds a spot in my heart. Vacationing there every summer with my extended family was the highlight of the summer. Whenever a couple suggests going there for their engagement session it feels like my home away from home.
I met Christina and Tom at the Montauk Brewery to start their engagement session.
Not noticing all the other people there enjoying some brews.
After some liquid courage and an outfit change we head out deeper into Montauk to the lighthouse. Guys I kid you not, this was the windiest engagement session I have ever photographed. I even had to improvise and photograph the ring detail in my car! (I think I made it work 😉 ) Luckily Christina didn’t mind the wind. I kept saying her hair was having the best day ever flowing free. Also the wind was perfect for her flowing white dress. I mean come on – I couldn’t make that movement myself if I tried! To take a break from the wind we found this little niche of GREEN! Seriously I was loving this little area. Perfect contrast to the blue waters surrounding us. Aren’t they so cute?! They just knew how to cuddle into each other perfectly. Oh! I should probably mention their wedding is in Montauk next May! How dreamy?!While the wind was a bit much at times (hello Marilyn Monroe dress!) I couldn’t help be so proud of my clients.
