Does everyone remember that beautiful weather we had on Easter Sunday? Now do you remember the torrential down pours we had the Monday after? That was Lauren and Tom’s New York wedding day!
The silver lining of this story is that we had warm weather, plenty of sunshine, turquoise beaches, and another full wedding to look forward to in the Dominican Republic. Lauren was cool, calm, collected and just lived the day as it happened. Poor Tom got into a car accident the morning of his wedding – the rain was that bad! Lauren had some help getting ready by her fur baby, Bailey, the sweetest pup that just wanted to be right in the action. How could you say no to that sweet face?!
Despite the rain and car accidents Lauren and Tom were just as happy and excited as I remember. We switched our portrait plans (we had anticipated outdoor portraits at the house and out and about Smithtown) but instead we head right to Insignia to use their indoor space. After a sweet ceremony at the church we head back to the venue for drinks, amazing food, and of course dancing!
Just wait until you see all the amazingness we created during Lauren and Tom’s sunrise session and Dominican Republic wedding. Talk about polar opposites!
