Weather is funny, don’t you think? Last weekend Loren and Stephen were praying for snow (we know it was cold enough!) and on Saturday there was fresh powder for Liz and George. Liz and George were visiting from out of state to do some wedding planning so it was the perfect opportunity for us to squeeze in their engagement session. I also had never met them so I was anxiously waiting to meet the lovely couple behind all of the emails and phone calls. We did the shoot at the family home in East Hampton – it was so cute and decorated beautifully for that traditional Hamptons vibe. We started the shoot inside using the gorgeous natural like pouring into the spaces (white walls – yes please!) before heading outside to brave the snow. While the snow was a pleasant surprise, I am fairly certain we won’t have another surprise like that for their June wedding at Devon Yacht Club in Amagansett (imagine?!) Also throwing it out there – in home sessions are amazingly cozy and adorable!
