Lisa & Rob’s Wedding! | Mansion at Oyster Bay

End of Winter weddings can be pretty unpredictable. We are itching for warmer weather, later sunsets, and yet Mother Nature typically has other plans for us. Despite the cold and windy air we had such an amazing sun filled day for Lisa and Rob’s wedding. It totally helped that Lisa and Rob are the type of couple that goes with the flow. Not once did they complain about the cold (especially not Lisa even in her sleeveless dress!) Lisa got ready in her beautiful childhood home while Rob got ready nearby at a hotel. The first time they saw each other was when Lisa was walked down the aisle by her father. After a heartfelt ceremony and a fun bubble exit we head straight to their reception venue, The Mansion at Oyster Bay. Venues like The Mansion at Oyster Bay are so amazing since there are so many picture perfect locations both inside and outside. Lisa’s Long cathedral veil danced in the wind and created the most beautiful natural movement – I was obsessed! I also can’t lie, I was on cloud 9 when I found out we would be shooting their portraits during golden hour! We had such an epic time at the Fire Island Lighthouse Engagement Session over the summer that Lisa was a little nervous we wouldn’t be able to top it, but I think we are all on the same page that it was just as amazing! Lisa and Rob also left the sweetest review if you want to take a peek on my both my website and The Knot pages. I am so happy to have met such a wonderful couple – cheers guys!
