gina & mike’s engagement session! | peconic river herb farm

Gina and Mike. I feel like I have known then forever already. I photographed Mike’s proposal to Gina this past August at Planting Fields Arboretum in Oyster Bay. It was probably the hottest afternoon of the summer and yet they were all smiles and enjoyed walking around the park as the newly engaged! When they booked their wedding venue Gina immediately told Mike she wanted to work with me again – I was on cloud 9! Their engagement session was at Peconic River Herb Farm, them knowing it was one of my favorite locations. We had the most beautiful golden light peeking out between the fall foliage – I was in photo heaven! Gina was a little more prepared this time for photos and the two of them had me laughing the entire time. I even discovered a new spot there that became one of my favorite sets from the session. I can’t believe I never noticed before! One of my favorite moments during their session was when Gina told me she had already printed many of the engagement photos and hung them up in their home. It means so much to me when couples want to display their photos and incorporate them into their day to day life. I cannot wait for these two to get married next year – I can never get sick of photographing them! Cheers!
