Oh my – I have been looking forward to this wedding since the moment I heard where it was going to be. Let me just say, I was not disappointed!!! I met Dov my freshman year of college and immediately knew he was a fun, outgoing, and a little “center of attention” kind of guy. When he reached out to me that he was getting married I knew that the wedding would be absolutely perfect, down to the last detail. The first time I met Emily we immediately clicked and instantly had that friendship that Dov and I had. Their engagement session was last summer in Huntington and where I took one of my favorite beach engagement photos ever. Emily is also an extremely talented artist whom I have used for my own cat portraits. Seriously, if you are looking for a unique gift or even a piece of artwork of your furbaby, Emily is your girl! The entire wedding was held at Full Moon Resort in Big Indian. For those of you that don’t know where that is, its about a 3 hour drive outside of Long Island, up in the Catskills. Every spot on the property was picture perfect – no exaggeration. Emily and Dov got ready in separate cabins before walking down to their ceremony site in the middle of the woods. The ladies eggplant colored dresses looked amazing with their sunflower bouquets. I also loved how the guys wore grey tuxes opposed to the traditional black ones. Emily and Dov’s vows were handwritten in these adorable wooden books to be preserved forever. After stomping the glass and kissing the bride we walked around the grounds creating beautiful portraits in the early fall foliage. We then headed into the reception tent to dance the night away and even had Dov sing his lovely bride a song – swoon! We sent them off to their after party with a sparkler exit under the beautiful star lit sky. It was so difficult for me to pick my favorite photos because there were just too many! Cheers!
