casey & rob’s wedding! | the royalton mansion, roslyn

I have known Casey for what feels like forever. Two redhead giggling girls growing up at Christ Church Oyster Bay. I was elated when she asked me to be her wedding photographer, and was over the moon when I met her fiance Rob. He was so warm and outgoing and made me feel like I had known him for a lifetime, too. You may remember their epic snow engagement session last December at Coindre Hall – I couldn’t have planned a better winter engagement session if I tried. I knew their wedding day would be full of laughs, joy, merriment, and so on and so forth.

After a rollercoaster of a week of weather we ended up with the most beautiful “actually feels like fall” wedding day. Casey was calm yet excited to see her soon-to-be husband and I have no doubt Rob felt the same way. I don’t think their was a dry eye in Casey’s bridal suite as she read the note Rob had written for her. It’s funny to see the photos of them separately because they are such beautiful people inside and out and their smiles are contagious – but just wait until you see the smiles when they are together. Holy cow, that is true love. Rob was cracking me up as he stood at the altar waiting for Casey, taking selfies with guests, Facetiming with loved ones that couldn’t be there, I felt like he was the mayor. Finally Casey walked through the big doors and it was time to get married! After the most dramatic first kiss (did you see how low she got on that dip?!) and lots of smiles and tears Casey and Rob were finally newlyweds! After a few photos at the church we head back to The Royalton for some photos right as the sun set. Honestly Casey and Rob cannot take a bad photo – and that chemistry is so pure and organic. Seeing the two of them together gives you all the feels. They truly are each others happy place.

When it came time for the reception there was no doubt it would be a wild evening – Casey and Rob were all over the dancefloor all night. They really set the mood with that fantastic entrance! I loved during their first dance how they just melted into each other, and how sentimental both parent dances were. Don’t worry, Rob didn’t actually push Casey into the cake, but I honestly wouldn’t have been surprised if he did!

Congratulations Casey and Rob! Here is so many more years of laughter and joy! Cheers!
