Oh my goodness. What a perfect engagement session Leah and Greg had yesterday. We went to one of my go-to locations, Coindre Hall in Huntington. Leah and Greg brought their two furbabies along with them for some family photos (aren’t those little ladies so precious?!)
I coudn’t believe the smiles these dogs had on their faces! What a good lookin’ family! 
We let the pups rest with Leah’s parents so that we could explore the park. I loved Leah’s cute jumper that matched so well with Greg’s baby blue button down and jeans. I mean honestly though, Leah and Greg could have worn anything and still looked amazing!
Perfected the walk on the first try. I was convinced Leah had been practicing beforehand.
I love Coindre Hall’s little niches – walls covered in ivy, lots of overgrown trees and shrubs, and of course wide open spaces to run around and play in (which is good for the pups, too!)
Leah and Greg were down for anything. All of the pick ups, stopping every couple of feet to capture that beam of light shining between the trees – I was in golden hour heaven!
That lens flare! I took full advantage of it every opportunity I had. Luckily for me, Leah and Greg didn’t mind looking at each other.
So. stinkin’. cute.
I swear these smiles were all them. Greg was telling me how he can’t stop kissing Leah. He loves it. I was completely obsessed with that and much like them looking at each other, took full advantage that he loved to kiss her.
I had never met Greg before the engagement session but he had me laughing the entire time. He had Leah laughing too, which made for some pretty spectacular moments.
A quick wardrobe change and back out into the golden hour goodness! The sun was just setting as we began our walk down to the water. Of course, I couldn’t help being distracted by such nice lighting. 
Isn’t Leah beautiful?! Every single photo she looks stunning.
I looooooooved this set. Playing in that setting summer sun. 
I loved the subtle hints of green in Leah’s dress next to this swampy area. It’s the little things.
Looking back on Leah and Greg’s “getting to know you” questionnaire, Leah explained why she hired me to be their wedding photographer. She said, “I chose you because your photos truly capture the happiness of the people in front of the camera.” – I believe their engagement session did just that.
We finally made it down to the beach. Besides all of the bugs (sorry guys!) it was picture perfect.
I cannot wait to photograph these two even more at their wedding next year. Cheers!
