laura & terence’s engagement session! | anchor beach, lido beach

Another beach engagement session – and we didn’t have to reschedule due to rain! While I was driving to Lido Beach I saw the storm clouds roll in and I kept thinking, it better not rain while we are on the beach. Luckily for us the weather held out and the clouds made for some great photos!Laura and Terence chose Anchor Beach for their engagement session because that is where they met. They knew the beach would be fairly quiet and secluded during the week, making for a more intimate engagement session. They were both lifeguards at Point Lookout for years, always coming back to the same spot each summer. This beach was the perfect location. I had never been there but the sand was soft, the beach grass was a perfect green (lol) and the water was serene. I love Laura’s smile! She goes from happy to extremely happy in a matter of seconds! Of course we used the lifeguard stand as a backdrop while we were there. Those blues in the sky and water – I am obsessed! While most of you know I am obsessed with all things green, there is something about being in the beach right during golden hour that gets me. I just couldn’t pass up all the blues the ocean had to offer. Sandy toes and sunkissed skin – a perfect summer engagement session!Romantic strolls on the beach… Absolutely obsessed with these two. While we didn’t quite get the cotton candy sunset I was hoping for on the beach, the clouds gave us some cool skies and textures to work with. And I really could have put Laura and Terence anywhere and they would look perfect!I loved this wooden boardwalk leading to the beach. I also loved that Laura and Terence were barefoot for this entire session. Right as we were about to say our goodbyes the sun snuck out from the clouds. I couldn’t pass up some golden hour goodness!!! Looking forward to your wedding next June Laura and Terence! Cheers!
